The indictments are rays of sunshine
Unlike the doom and gloom darkness this country is a mess the Democrats are destroying the nation this is all a witch hunt nonsense emanating from The Chosen One (TCO) and his sycophants, to the contrary, the federal criminal indictment of TCO is a ray of sunshine that upholds the U.S. Constitution which clearly declares laws of this nation apply to everyone. As a voter and citizen, I believe we Americans deserve to try this man in front of a jury to determine his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt that he violated serious and critical federal laws, or his innocence of the charges.
As a political scientist, I understand why Republicans would vote for the presidential candidate advanced by their party. Democratic voters do the same thing. They vote party. However, this is a very special circumstance. Nothing prevents TCO from running, yet nominating TCO to run for the presidency again will guarantee yet another Republican loss at the ballot box during the next election. In reality, nominating another Republican candidate may actually improve the odds that the party’s candidate could win in 2024.
Even if the incumbent is returned to office for a second consecutive term, all is not lost for Republicans. Democrats are not destroying the country. Under our constitution, that is all but impossible, so it is a non-starter as a logical argument. Anyone who has paid attention knows that the political pendulum always swings. Eventually, a Republican will be returned to the White House. When that happens, we will all still be here, the country will be here, nothing will be destroyed.
