No matter how big or little the charges against Trump are, lodge them!

You know, I no longer care what it takes to bring down a hideous tyrant like The Chosen One (TCO). I no longer care, as I had even in the post-Watergate days, when I questioned whether we should prosecute a sitting or former president. I no longer care that the indictment against TCO sets a scary precedent. I just no longer care.

And for my lack of caring, I want to thank both the Republican Party and its conservative sycophants for revealing their utter disrespect and hate for more than half of our nation and the Democratic Party for being so lazy, stupid, and misguided in its failure to properly support its 2016 presidential candidate in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Even with the crazies we have in our state, at least Colorado is headed in a direction that is designed to help, not hurt people, as many other states seem bent to do.

It was a tax issue that brought down Al Capone. It was a silly dare to the news media that brought down Colorado’s presidential candidate, former Sen. Gary Hart. It was a surprise admission that the conversations in the White House were tape recorded that brought down a president. It was an undisclosed mistress and child that ended John Edwards’ march to the White House.

I know criminal investigations take time and are not subject to politics (har-har), but, prosecutors, the clock is ticking. Before the Republican Party steps on its own you know what again and nominates this atrocious human specimen, I want to see Manhattan DA Bragg’s charges joined with Georgia indictments for trying to illegally overturn the election there, federal criminal indictments for illegally taking classified government documents that belong — in secret — to you and me, federal criminal indictments for instigating an attempted coup of the United States Government, and I want to see that tard forced to testify in court, in public, in the civil rape case against him.

In the old days, the boys would just round him up and drag him through the streets of town and dump what’s left of him out in the boondocks. Today, we must do it in the courts, in prisons, and during elections. If you cannot nail the grifter on the big things, get him on those unpaid parking tickets. I just do not care anymore. Get TCO on whatever you can, prosecutors, but get him!

What Denver author and former journalist Richard J. Schneider does care about is writing more in his popular Vic Bengston Investigation mystery series, his family, friends, ham radio, and tutoring college students in academic writing. Also, his pet flatworm, Bosch (very low maintenance). Click on this paragraph to get to his InterWeb page.
